Grooming Services
We offer full-service grooming as well as a-la-carte services that will fit any of your bunny's needs. Pricing is tiered by bunny's weight or specialty coat: Dwarf size (less than 3 lbs), Standard and Large size (less than 10 lbs), and Giant (more than 11 lbs) or long-haired breeds (more than 2 inches). Free nail trimmings are included in all grooming session. We currently only accept adult bunnies older than 6 months old and in good health

For all bunnies adopted from the RVA Street Bunny Society, 50% of your first grooming session will be donated to the Street Bunnies. For all other visits and services, we pledge to donate 10% of profits to the RVA Street Bunny Society.

The Bunny Refresh:
Dry cleansing (NO cornstarch)
De-shedding, light de-matting, mild brush cleaning, external cleaning of anal gland and/or ears (as needed), and nail trimming
We generally recommend booking multiple shorter sessions rather than one long session particularly for bunnies who: may be sensitive or skittish, have more sensitive skin, have more matting, have lower tolerance for discomfort, or may be more prone to bald patches.
The 30-minute Refresh is offered as a way to minimize stressors caused by the length of sessions. It's also a good way to ease into grooming if you aren't sure where to begin. Free consultations are recommended (but not required) to assess any needs before arrival.

Whole body de-shedding and molting with mild brush cleaning (dry, no cornstarch) and light de-matting. If needed, external cleaning of anal gland and external cleaning of the ears. 1-hour Bunny Refresh (from $40+)

Includes Mani/Pedi that features a dry bath (with cornstarch) of the bottoms of paws, along with basic Refresh services (whole body de-shedding and molting, mild brush cleaning, light de-matting, external cleaning of anal gland and/or ears as needed, and nail trimming). Built-in break halfway through or whenever the bunny requires. Does not include prep/clean-up time within reason. Mani/Pedi can be substituted for any (1) Bunny Detailing service off the a-la-carte menu.

Includes Mani/Pedi and Fresh Bum treatment, both using a dry bath method using cornstarch. The Fresh Bum treatment is particularly helpful for bunnies who may enjoy more time inside their litter boxes. Built-in breaks as the bunny requires, and prep/clean-up time not included within reason. Either or both may be substituted by another Bunny Detailing service off the a-la-carte menu. All basic Refresh services included (whole body de-shedding and molting, mild brush cleaning, light de-matting, external cleaning of anal gland and/or ears as needed, and nail trimming).

In extremely rare circumstances, a bunny may need grooming more intensive than any dry method, either due to how heavily the fur has soiled or due to specific cases when multiple grooming sessions over time would be a detriment to the bunny's health and wellbeing. Shaving matted fur and/or wet bathing (with mild soap, never submerging) will only be considered on a case-by-case basis after: thorough assessment is made by the groomer in-person, after careful mutual decision-making, AND after confirmation from a rabbit-savvy vet of overall good health of the bunny.
